Emily joined Rathje Woodward in 2006, bringing with her a passion for law and a commitment to excellence. Throughout her career, Emily has tried numerous cases across the country, represented employers large and small, and counseled clients on novel issues.
She is a Fellow with the Litigation Counsel of America which is an invitation-only trial lawyer organization comprised of less than .5% of American lawyers. She has been recognized consistently by Super Lawyers and Leading Lawyers as a top professional in her practice areas.
Emily’s contributions extend beyond her legal practice. Since October 2019, she has served as a board member for Metropolitan Family Services DuPage and co-chaired their annual Gala for several years. Emily is also a board member for Choose DuPage, which supports county-wide economic development initiatives and addresses policy issues for the greater regional economy.
Emily resides in Chicago with her husband and three children, whom she counts among her greatest achievements. She is a non-Hodgkins lymphoma survivor and is actively involved in groups that support women affected by cancer diagnoses.
